SCIENTIFIC DATA - WEIGHT LOSS Dean Richards has spent weeks and months researching published scientific articles giving evidence regarding acupuncture (in university librbaries), which were previously included on this website, but since there these have been proven to be a problem to the Therapeutic Goods Administration in Australia they have been deleted. Previously over the years, Dean Richards researched with many overseas acupunturists, the conditions which respond well, not so well, or not at all, to acupuncture. He listed these on his website but these also have been indicated as advertising, so they have been forced to be deleted, although they gave patients an informed idea of success rates. Conditions are less stringent in other countries and he will be interested in transferring this information to any other company who may subsequently take over his products. I will attempt to retain a basic website where this knowledge can be obtained. I already have interest from USA and Europe. In future I expect that approved testimonials will also be denied publication on the website - if so these can be made available to email. Since the invention of this tyope of self-use acupuncture in 1985 Dean Richards has been dedicated (despite the reduction of his extensive acupunture practice) to the use of self-treatment acupuncture, in opposition to drug therapy with the many side effects, and which is widely approved by the authorties.
